Bahulu Warisan (Singapore) was established in 24th of May 2006 by Madam Zainab Baharum as a family franchise of Bahulu Warisan (Malaysia). She bakes in environmentally friendly gas ovens to preserve the traditio
nal flavour of Bahulus that is loved by people of all ages. "Hot off the oven" Bahulus quickly became a hit and secure a group of loyal followers. Words of her mouth-watering Bahulus that are served warm quickly spread and it was not before long that she started having troubles keeping up with demands. This unexpected 'problem' gave Madam Zainab the idea of having an additional outlet. This later resulted in the set-up of her Boon Lay Branch soon after, enjoying the same loyal following as her outlet in IMM. Another branch in Bendemeer followed and it too became as successful as the first two branches, and this was the result of Bahulu Warisan's uncompromising stance on quality. Realising a need to expand her offerings, Madam Zainab set-up Warisan Recipe in July 2007, which focused on the distribution of traditional cakes and snacks sourced from the best manufacturers, thus ensuring her customers consistently receives good quality offerings. Today, Warisan Recipe also has outlets in Simei and Lengkok Bahru receiving regular orders from corporate clients.
