Qingming festival is also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day falls on 5 April 2026. This is a time for families to honour and remember their departed loved ones.
The wider traditional tomb-sweeping period, often considered 10 days before and after, stretches from late March to mid-April.

大伯公诞（农历二月初二，俗称“头牙”）是祭拜福德正神的重要日子，常在早上8时至下午4时之间进行，祭品以亲民的三牲(全鸡、五花肉、煎鱼)、五果(橘子、苹果、香蕉、梨子、柚子)、面线、红龟粿及酒水为主，寓意生意兴隆、家宅平安.
信众常准备马铃薯（寓意吃到老）、麻糬（黏钱）和酒（活得长久）作为经典贡品
在大伯公诞祭拜，尤其是工商界人士，是为了祈求事业顺利、得到贵人相助，并求得财源广进。

(The second day of the second lunar month, commonly known as ‘Tou-ya’) is an important occasion for paying homage to the God of Prosperity and Virtue. The ceremony usually takes place between 8 am and 4 pm, with offerings typically consisting of the traditional ‘three sacrificial animals’ (a whole chicken, pork belly and fried fish), five fruits (mandarins, apples, bananas, pears and pomelos), vermicelli, red turtle cakes and alcoholic beverages, symbolizing prosperous business and domestic peace.
Devotees often prepare potatoes (symbolizing longevity), mochi (associated with prosperity) and wine (for eternity) as classic offerings.
Business owners will come to pray for smooth career progress, the assistance of benefactors, and an abundance of wealth.

What’s Miku?? Hokkien origin

Miku buns (面龟/麵龜), are basic Chinese Steamed Buns of Hokkien origin, requiring careful preparation to maintain the firm shape and, sometimes, to achieve a smooth skin without wrinkles. While deeply rooted in Hokkien culture, Miku buns (面龟/麵龜), often shaped like tortoises, are popular across southeast Asia and Taiwan, often found available outside temples during festivals, used as auspicious offerings to Emperor Xuan Wu (玄天大帝) in Taiwan, also to the Nine Emperor Gods Festival (“Gao Ong Yah” 九皇大帝/九王爷 ) that is mainly celebrated in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. In some traditions, they are brought back home for consumption as breakfast or snacks after the prayers.

At Aud’s Miku, we try to uphold the traditional roots and hope to introduce to more people of different ages so that the legacy continues. We have since expanded Miku in variety of customizable design like Character Buns, Peach Longevity Buns, Smiley Buns served plain or with different customized fillings.
