What came out went into a heavy aluminium cake tin. Baked it low and slow at 150degC, and 2.5 hours later, this manifested. Very dense, sop rich with rum-and-brandy soaked fruit freshly liberated from the vacuum sealed bag that was living in our freezer for over a year. Blissful, hearty, scrummy, and boozy (but just happy, not a bitter drunk).
