HAPPY DEEPAVALI 🪔
.to those celebrating! There would be a flashsale Ensemble Box today if I had not felt under the weather amidst the busy week. Decided to take it slow (hence the radio silence on my messaging platforms!) and focus on existing orders.

These are Besan Ladoos! My first attempt, and needed a tweak of sweetness before they go into the box with (supposedly) other assorted bakes. So yummy; literally melt-in-your-mouth & lightly spiced with cardamom. Added chopped pistachios and cashews for extra crunch too! Trickiest bit was slow-roasting the gram/chickpea flour before adding in all the other stuff. Reminds me so much of sec sch period when we had Indian sweets almost every other weekends!

First and foremost, thank you .twelve for the pop-up market invite to their beautiful venue & for making us feel comfortable!

This is B&C’s first official pop-up & honestly it has been a whirlwind of emotions. I used to feel like I’m not ready to go offline but alhamdulillah every day is a learning journey, and your support for B&C builds the strength in me.

I wished I had more hands, oven and storage to cater to everyone who came down just to try my bakes. I’m sorry you were left with very limited options from 2PM on Sunday 😬

Anyhoos what I love most about this pop-up was that I get to interact — reminds me of my past F&B jobs but to be the baker behind all these handcrafted bakes feels a lot more personal!

It was really lovely to meet & share insights with like-minded vendors too. It motivates you, lifts up your spirits & definitely drift you away from the anxiety✨Grateful to meet familiar faces and new customers. Hope I made you fall in love with B&C 🤪

I apologise for any shortcomings from my part, if any! I hope the pop-up lasted a little longer but it has been fun albeit very tiring. Credits to my besties and my family members for assisting with my booth 💯 Y’all are the true MVPs!
