Notes from Sicily, #01.
A few days back in Sicily and the notebook is already filling up.
Markets in the morning. Prickly pears stacked on stalls. Almonds still in their shells. Aubergines in every shade of purple. Bread shops, old streets, conversations — and a few things I’d forgotten to look at properly.
Tuppo is taking a little break from cooking in Singapore, but definitely not from working.
I’m spending these weeks eating, looking, asking questions and collecting ideas. Some familiar. Some new.
Not everything will make it back to Singapore.
The good stuff might.
