Sourdough bread it's one of the item in my bucket list to check. I still remember during covid-19 pendamic I tried to make sourdough starter fm stratch but failed horribly ๐Ÿ˜… until a mth ago I'm blessed with some very active and good starter and the rest is history ๐ŸŽŠ

My family don't like the sour note in rustic crusty bread so I explore using sourdough to make soft white bread like shokupan or brioche. I'm very fortunate to find Autumn Baking Diary (็ง‹ๅคฉ็š„็ƒ˜็„™ๆ—ฅ่ฎฐ๏ผ‰ she share about using sourdough to make Sweet Stuff Starter and turn them into perfect soft bread loaf which my family n most Asian family likes ๐Ÿฅณ

It is not easy to catch the starter behavior, timing and final proofing temp. My frnd said you can easily get a loaf of sour dough for less then $10 so why take 2 days to make a loaf of bread but I'm just this stubborn and like to challenge myself ๐Ÿ’ช

After making a few successful sour dough brioche and yogurt honey loaf I can proudly says I know my sourdough ๐Ÿ˜… (sound like I'm in some kind of relationship ๐Ÿ˜‚) and my sourdough bread are soft and edible. However, I still have lots of room to improve and lots of persuasion for my family to overcome the slight hint of sourness in the bread and add them to their breakfast menu so to give me a reason to keep baking this healthy bread๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช
