occasionally I get a wild hair
and this is the result -
our very own customized cold cups, and a step towards building my dream 🥹

fun fact:
our logo is hand drawn by the very talented YT Tommy Lee
the brief I gave her 5 years ago when I started SDWB was to
“draw a silhouette of me baking”
and boy did she deliver

altho she did somehow draw me left handed when I’m right handed, which is funny because:
1. we’re friends for over 25 years
2. we only realized this a few months back, after operating SDWB for 5 years 😂

TLDR; our OG gluten free brownies are back!!!

if you’ve been with us since our beginnings in 2020, gluten free brownies were one of our first products and they were our bestsellers back then

then I changed my oven and..they never turned out quite the same so I pulled them off the menu

recently, I started playing with the recipe again, because we all need a basic brownie to comfort ourselves right?
and may I just say, they’re now even better than before

moist, fudgy and chocolatey
those who know me will know I don’t like chocolate, but I can gobble these up in minutes 🤭

please give them a try if you’re coming by the shop or ordering online!!

april has been an amazing month so far. thank you for all the support!

however seeing as we haven’t had any rest since the chinese new year madness, we’ll be taking a much needed break from 14 - 22 apr

be back for ya on 23 apr 10am! our online store will remain open for preorders so hit us up if you want to secure goodies!

chinese new year 2026

it’s time again! our gluten free pineapple tarts are open for preorders (link in bio). As usual, limited quantities are available as they are all made by one pair of hands, in addition to keeping up with bakes for retail. Please place your orders early as we’ll close dates once they’re full

this year we have our physical shopfront at arab street, so you can collect your orders from a more central location

we also offer delivery but we use a third party courier so we highly encourage collecting from our shop, since our pineapple tarts are fragile and so precious

we’ll also have some bottles available for walk-ins, while stock lasts. Feel free to dm us to check on availability before you drop by!

the year that Some Days We Bake took the leap from being a home-based gluten free bakery to a tiny takeaway shop in the middle of the city

extremely thankful to family and friends who stood by me every step of the way in this journey. also thankful to myself for being brave enough to take up the opportunity when it came, despite all the fear, stress and anxiety that came with it

to those of you who have blessed us with your support, encouragement and well wishes, thank you thank you thank you

here’s to small but steady milestones in 2026 as we grow at our own pace and continue to serve the gluten free community
