Our Beeswax wraps are made of a blend of beeswax, jojoba oil and tree resin with antibacterial qualities. They are reusable & eco-friendly alternatives to plastic cling wraps. They can be used to cover bowls, keep vegetables & bread fresh longer, keep half-cut avocados and wrap sandwiches.
The anti-bacterial wax layer protects your food from air, light & moisture and helps extend the life of your produce.

To wash beeswax wraps, rinse the wrap with cool or lukewarm water and eco-friendly dish soap. You can use a cloth or sponge to wipe them down, then rinse off.

After washing, allow the wraps to air dry. Leave them to dry on the clothes line or simply drape them over other drying dishes or even your faucet to dry.

Once dry, gently fold and store in a cool dry place (eg. drawer or refrigerator) until next time. Be sure that they stay dry and are in a handy spot for your next use.
Taking good care of your beeswax wraps, and avoiding any heat sources, will help your wraps last for up to 12 months or more of reuse (duration varies depending on usage level).
The wax will slowly start to break down or flake off a little overtime. This is perfectly normal and you can still continue to use the wraps. If your beeswax wraps start looking tired, you can also refresh them by melting the wax slightly. Alternatively, contact us and we will be happy to help refresh your wraps for a minimum fees.
