It's our 1st birthday (and happy birthday Singapore ❤️)!

One year ago today, we posted our very first social media post to introduce about the brand.

In actual fact, the preparation work started about 2 months ago when Spice sent a cream cheese garlic buns baking kit to Shugar. The idea bloomed and right after we dived straight into business plan, design of logo (thank you Weng Heng!), printing, sourcing of packaging and photoshoot. All done under 2 months!

So proud of us and what we managed to achieve over the year. Thank you to Spice for supporting for this fun idea and for all the late bake nights (accompanied by some chill wine and netflix no less)!

We took a hiatus post CNY as Shugar is trying to settle down in her new corporate job and Spice is busy with her personal commitments. We may spring back with a preorder soon - Stay with us on this page for updates!

We created Shugar & Spice in August 2020. Looking back, it's really been a crazy four months of late night baking, creating, more testing/ eating to deliver different bakes to you every time.

Crazy, but fulfilling :)

Thank you very much for all your love and support! Spice will continue to R&D and bake hard, while Shugar will continue to taste-test diligently and indulge in all the sugar rushes (LOL).

Feeling accomplished on Christmas eve!

Created & delivered our first custom Unicorn Magic Cupcakes! This is also our very first bake with fondant design, whee! 🦄🧁

These magical bites are made with assorted cake base (dark chocolate brownie, lemon vanilla, Christmas spice) and swirls of Swiss meringue buttercream in dreamy, pastel colours ☁️

Decorated with Christmas & unicorn cake toppers, handmade fondant unicorn horns & ears, and of course fun cake sprinkles!

Oh yes, we also spritzed edible gold dust for an extra dose of magic ❤

Absolutely loving these cheery bakes! It is an absolute joy for us to bring a smile to our loveliest customers! And that, is magic of the holidays indeed 🥰
