A couple of weeks ago I got to see my favorite band live in Stockholm - I highly recommend their live show and I loved getting to shout along in Te Reo Māori

I wanted to make something fun for them and remembered the Laser Kiwi flag. Well - I have a 3D printer and some spare laser modules! Found a good kiwi model by and added some space for wires and lasers, used a parametric base generator and got help from to model the clear petg cover.

This piece also got named "Avian Weaponry". Turned out better than I hoped for and I hope it can laser power the band on their travels!

My best tape pull to date on a very special guitar - this Myles Kennedy signature was acquired by Lisa and Antoine Mikhtarian, became the canvas for her creative vision and made into a true piece of art fit to deliver even more art on stage.

I got to be part of the project in preparing with disassembly, clear coat, reassembly and setup before they presented it to himself at the Stockholm gig.

Check my story for a link to their YouTube video about the creation and premiere of this guitar! We've heard back from Myles guitar tech that it's become one of his favorites and we've had the pleasure of seeing it on stage on the continued European tour.

Recently fixed up these stellar specimens for and who just released their first EP DTHDLR with .are.dawn! Go listen to it right away, these excellent musicians as well as producers really deliver a sonic experience that you'll remember!

On the 8 we had a single which let us be creative with the neck pickup space - and with help from I could print a band branded dummy pickup which I really enjoyed!

Getting the fan fretted in order was a pleasure, and I insisted on de-triangling the headstock transition. The LTD was a long serving classic that needed its first proper service, and it got back to excellent condition!

Happy to get to work on these, and happy to follow sound along as DAWN them to more and more use and abuse!

When I visited Iceland I got to meet Snorri, who happened to be a neighbor of my host ! He recently took up guitar building and has already managed to build 4 cool guitars with a lot of personality! Much of the wood he used is recycled - table legs, flooring, table slabs- and some of the hardware that's not easily found in Iceland he made with ordinary hardware store materials.

I tried bullying him into coming online and showing his stuff, but since he's a bit shy about it I'm bringing them here for some feedback from my guitar communities! Give me a couple of words about what you're seeing and I'll make sure he gets to hear a bit about it

If you do well enough I might share the idea for really interesting instruments I left them with!

Found the spot where I was pictured at Dimmuborgir 33 years ago! Here's Markus at 4 and 37, but this time I had to pose in front of Kirkjan. Extra fun since I also recently worked with the even more well known of Norwegian Black Metal fame.

Got some new threads! Met up with Mathias who runs - a Neapolitan pizza truck. When you're a metal fan and you want some artwork for your food truck, what do you do? Mathias went straight for the legend . It just doesn't get any better. Super comfy tee as well!

In December I had the honour of providing guitar service for who were recording at . A bunch of guitars and basses were fixed, but I'd like to highlight this LP which is one of main guitars. He just dropped an ampsim with .digital so make sure to check that out!

With long and trusted service it had accrued some wear making it not ideal for the studio. We opted to level and crown the frets, recut the grooves in both nut and bridge and replacing the broken switch. A strap button screw had broken off, so it was excised and replaced. All hardware was thoroughly cleaned and lubricated, the pickups polished and everything set up with for optimal playability, sound and reliability for the studio. Looking forward to hearing the result!

A prime specimen of a Gibson Flying V fixed up for who just dropped a new EP with - check it out! Also live at at this Saturday!

The guitar needed a bit of care with scratchy pots, adjustment of the nut slots and the bridge saddles cut to better match the radius. All polished up, lubricated and set up to perfection 🤘
