Sous vide Korean BBQ Wings. Super simple. Mix up the ingredients and sauces so you never get bored. I freeze meat in ziplocks so I’m always ready!

Cook the wings at 167F for 1h 15 mins. If you don’t have Korean sauces you can still make amazing wings using any 2 TB BBQ sauce and half a teaspoon of red chilli flakes.

Typically I would post a picture of a city and leave it there with the food to the right. Lahore has some beautiful landmarks, however what was more incredible was the morals of this man.

We were going towards the wagha border and I saw this man handing out cakes. I respect when people work for their money, I didn’t feel like eating cake so I handed him money. He said he’s not going to accept it and said he would give it to a single mother, so he did just that (pictured). I was taken aback by this gesture so I then asked if I could have a slice of cake and he then accepted cash for that in return.

There are so many lessons we could all learn from this one man and his principles, Alhamdulilah.

Sorry it’s been quite some time since I posted a pic! Finally got in to my camera and been doing a lot of travelling (and eating of course) so iA I will be uploading all my finds to here.

Most Pakistani people will have heard of cafe Aylanto and I do do recall eating a steak there about 8 years ago. Back then it was a very mediocre steak, nothing special at all. I expected the same this time round, however they had changed everything. These were no longer Pakistani street cows, these guys were using wagyu and black Angus beef. This was an incredible wagyu rib eye.

Happy new year everyone!
Sorry this took a while to put up. Phoenix is full of halal restaurants and cactus everywhere! I stayed at the Marriott resort in Tempe and I have to say it didn’t disappoint, I was upgraded to the president suite which had a sauna, piano, its own elevator and many more things!

Also I just came back from the annual Dubai trip and I can’t wait to show you the new restaurants we came across this time! We also toured around Karachi and Lahore!

Arizona has a decent halal food scene! to be honest I just wanted some chicken/ lamb with salad, but this place served everything baked with basically no healthy options.. so I thought why not 🤣 it looked too good to pass on.

Phoenix, the middle East’s brother from another continent. What do they have in common? They are both made up of mostly desert land and secondly they have floor seating Mandi vibes. This is a Mandi from Mandi House, seemed like a legit choice given the fact the restaurant is named after it. I have to say that it’s probably one of the best Mandi’s I’ve had outside of the UAE.

It’s great that now it’s only a train ride away! What I particularly love about basketball is that you don’t have to wait until every weekend to be disappointed there’s a game every couple of days. As a Man Utd fan it is pretty important to follow another sport too as the disappointment gets taxing lol.

I’ve held this belief that it is difficult to get good halal food right in central manhattan, especially Times Square. Today I was wrong, took us to and it was a surprisingly great burger. It also has decent eating space too! I am not sure why the reviews on yelp aren’t that great though!

One of the boujie-est places in NYC right now is .hardware

It is a minimalistic classy furniture/home store, quite unlike any other equivalent store. They have a rooftop which serves food, the English breakfast tea was honestly amazing, fresh baked cookies and coconut sorbet.

It’s a great ‘halal’ rooftop to go to for families, as it’s not like a bar/loud music setting. Note the meat served here isn’t halal..

I love this bridge. It drops you right in to the heart of more beautiful side of London (for those that live/lived in the south of London like myself lol). I believe is also a burger stall now open all night and the burgers are halal.

Recently this time in London myself and visited a few places for afternoon tea. I have to say none of them disappointed. To be entirely honest Grosvenor house probably has the best all round afternoon tea experience I have ever had. Of course the food is halal and there is free refills of everything. Also they serve a great amuse bouche as well!

If I had to live in another city in the US after New York, philly would definitely be high up there. What does it not have? Great halal options, amazing downtown area, nice architecture. If you haven’t been down to philly I do recommend it.
