It was due to his persistent and persuasive approach that the Cantonment authority of Hyderabad Sindh granted him permission to build the bakery on its current location and it was comp

The Bombay Bakery established itself for the production of high quality confectionary items such as bread, biscuits, and cakes. Pahlajrai along with his 3 sons and the help of reliable employees developed a reputation for using genuine and authentic ingredients in their products. Mr Pahlajrai died in 1948, but his sons continued to run the bakery. It was Kishinchand Thadani who with his creative and innovative approach developed the delicious recipes for a great variety of cakes and biscuits, which are being produced even today. After Kishinchand’s death in 1960, Gopichand and Kishinchand's son Kumar continued to take care of The Bombay Bakery. Kumar Thadani, was a great philanthropist and a perfectionist.
