Chicken Qeema with Red Beans:
Ingredients:
3 tablespoons of oil
2 onions, chopped
Whole garam masala
1/2 kg chicken qeema
3 tomatoes, chopped
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon of turmeric
1 tablespoon of red chili powder
1 tablespoon of ground coriander
1/2 cup of yogurt
1 cup of boiled red beans
Sliced bell peppers
1 teaspoon of dried fenugreek leaves
Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions:
Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a pan.
Add 2 chopped onions and cook for 3 minutes.
Add whole garam masala and cook for another 3 minutes.
Add 1/2 kg of chicken qeema and cook for 5 minutes.
Add 3 chopped tomatoes and cook for 3 more minutes.
Add salt to taste, 1 teaspoon of turmeric, 1 tablespoon of red chili powder, and 1 tablespoon of ground coriander. Cook for 2 minutes.
Add 1/2 cup of yogurt and cook until the liquid dries up.
Add 1 cup of boiled red beans, sliced bell peppers, and 1 teaspoon of dried fenugreek leaves. Cook for a final 2 minutes.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with naan or rice.
