For those who don’t know — Mateo is the little boy behind Mateo’s Oven.

He’s a one-year-old who loves bread more than anything, lovingly baked by the hands of his mother.

Those same hands remind us of the women everywhere who nurture, create, and inspire every day.

Happy International Women’s Day.

Most pan de coco uses fine coconut.

We don’t.

We use bigger (and probably the whitest) coconut shreds for better texture and flavor.

No lard.
No margarine.
Only quality ingredients.

Simply put, it's pan de coco — done right.
