In the late 80s, Mama would bake in Singapore as a side hustle when she and Papa were starting out their newlywed life. (Papa would sell them to friends & officemates, and would be the happy recipient of all the burnt edges and reject pieces 🤣) They eventually moved back here to the Philippines to settle down and start a family.

Growing up, I would nag Mama for the recipe but she could never find it. At the height of ECQ in 2020, she finally found it & officially turned it over to me 🤣

So here is my attempt to share a part of my family's memories to you and your family, one lemon bar at a time🍋❤

Say hello to the newest* addition to the fam! Classic Choco Chip Cookies w/ a sprinkle of sea salt flakes 🍪❤

*but actually the oldest in my baking repertoire at 20 yrs old 😅🙈

Never had the courage to sell these because I was always overprotective of this product and insecure about what people might think....but growth happens outside your comfort zone, right?

We're so inspired by Mama ❤ Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey!

"Breastfeeding my firstborn was a breeze. The milk came effortlessly and by the time I went back to work I had a freezer full of stash.

But with the twins, it left me feeling inadequate. When they cried in hunger. When they wouldn’t gain weight as fast. The milk came but it just wasn’t enough. By the 2nd month, I started supplementing with formula.

But I kept at it - pumping round the clock, drinking liquids, having malunggay every meal, eating anything and everything that promised to give more milk. And I also became kinder to myself. To change the feeling of guilt to celebrating that the twins were thriving.

They’re 5 months now & started solids. We have days when there is more milk &they take 100% breastmilk. And there are days when we need to supplement, and that’s okay. Whatever gives us happy, healthy babies, we’ll take it and we’ll do it.

So thank you for MORE MILK. To all the mamas out there, may we all be kinder to ourselves. We’ve got this 💙"

How???

Mama finds small moments for self care and balance through exercise/ getting back to yoga (she's a rockstar at this 🧘‍♀️), spending QT with her family, short coffee breaks, etc.

What a superwoman! 😍💪
