Four (4) food processing enterprises in the Province of Biliran successfully submitted their applications for a Food and Drug Administration-License to Operate (FDA-LTO) following the conduct of the โ€œOrientation, Consultation, and Walk-Through on FDA-LTO Registration for Processed Food MSMEs in the Province of Biliranโ€ held on 20 May 2026 at the DTI-Biliran Provincial Office Conference Room, Naval, Biliran.

As part of the registration process, the production facilities of ๐•๐ข๐ซ๐ ๐จ ๐Š๐ข๐ญ๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ญ๐ญ๐ž and ๐€๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐š ๐’๐ž๐š๐Ÿ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ข-๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž ๐‚๐จ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž (๐€๐’๐„๐Œ๐‚๐Ž) were inspected by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) - Regional Field Office VIII on 26 May 2026. Meanwhile, ๐‡๐ž๐งโ€™๐ณ ๐‚๐จ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ฎ๐ญ ๐–๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐‘๐ž๐ญ๐š๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐  and ๐Ÿ’๐Š๐‚ ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐œ๐š๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ are currently awaiting inspection.

DTI-Biliran provided technical assistance to the four enterprises throughout the application process, from preparing the documentary requirements to submitting applications through the FDA ePortal, to ensure proper compliance with regulatory requirements.

This initiative reflects DTI-Biliranโ€™s commitment to helping processed food enterprises in the province strengthen their regulatory compliance, enhance product credibility, and expand their market opportunities.
