Four (4) food processing enterprises in the Province of Biliran successfully submitted their applications for a Food and Drug Administration-License to Operate (FDA-LTO) following the conduct of the โOrientation, Consultation, and Walk-Through on FDA-LTO Registration for Processed Food MSMEs in the Province of Biliranโ held on 20 May 2026 at the DTI-Biliran Provincial Office Conference Room, Naval, Biliran.
As part of the registration process, the production facilities of ๐๐ข๐ซ๐ ๐จ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ and ๐๐ฅ๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ข-๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ (๐๐๐๐๐๐) were inspected by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) - Regional Field Office VIII on 26 May 2026. Meanwhile, ๐๐๐งโ๐ณ ๐๐จ๐๐จ๐ง๐ฎ๐ญ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ and ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐๐ข๐๐ฌ are currently awaiting inspection.
DTI-Biliran provided technical assistance to the four enterprises throughout the application process, from preparing the documentary requirements to submitting applications through the FDA ePortal, to ensure proper compliance with regulatory requirements.
