This is the moment of pure magic—transforming a slow-fermented dough into a canvas of airy bubbles. Watching it pull away from the bowl and sink into a golden lake of olive oil is a reminder that the best things take time.The texture on this batch turned out incredibly cloud-like and light.

I’m testing out a new savory direction for our upcoming drops, and the base is officially 👌

While the rest of the world sleeps, I find myself drawn to the dough—performing the rhythmic, tactile ritual of stretch and folds. This Focaccia Pizza is currently embarking on its long, slow slumber in the refrigerator. This cold fermentation is not just a step; it is where the dough finds its strength and its bubbles. 🌬️✨

I’ve been pondering a savory shift for Father’s Day. Something golden, bubbly, and deeply, blissfully cheesy. After all, the best gifts are the ones we can tear apart and share, aren't they? 🧀🍕

The Sweet Spot is taking a little break because the cheese cravings have officially taken over! 🧀🥯

Managing Gestational Diabetes means getting creative with carbs. My latest experiment: Whole Wheat Focaccia. By using whole wheat flour, I’m getting that essential fiber while still satisfying my deep need for cheesy, bready goodness. 🥖✨

I’ll be honest—this batch wasn't perfect. I was a little too impatient to eat it, so I didn't let it proof long enough, and I stretched the dough too thin. But the flavor? The tomato and feta side was a dream. 🍅🕊️

We finally did it! Welcome back to The Sweet Spot, and I am so happy to report that Episode 4 is officially a SUCCESS. 🕊️🍫

After the 'earthy' struggles of lentils and beans, this Chocolate Granola is exactly what my chocoholic heart needed. It’s crunchy, satisfying, and my sister actually liked it too!

Why it’s a win:
🥣 Texture: That CRUNCH is such a great contrast with milk or creamy yogurt!
🍓 Customizable: I love it with a bit of fresh fruit or a few choc chips (when the craving is strong! 🤭)

Episode 3 of The Sweet Spot is here, and let’s just say... the beans didn’t win. 🫘❌

I really had high hopes for these Black Bean Brownies. After the lentil cupcake fail, I thought the texture of beans would be the answer. While they were definitely softer and more tender, it was grainy and the taste was still bitter. 😅 If I hadn’t topped it with chocolate chips, I don't think I could have finished a slice!

Being a chocoholic with Gestational Diabetes is officially a full-time job of trial and error. 🍫🩺

I’m taking a little break from 'bean-based' desserts for my own sanity. 😅 I’m looking at trying Quinoa Chocolate Bark or Chocolate Banana Granola next—but PLEASE, if you have a recipe that doesn't taste like a garden, drop it in the comments! 👇
