MWANA Cakes and Pastries Mwana Cakes and Pastries (formerly known as Scrumptee) is a home based cake/pastry business that aim "Mwana" is Swahili for "Son".

Mwana Cakes and Pastries is a home business which was inspired by the owner's first born son. It all started as a hobby and a love for all things sweet, especially CHEESECAKES! It turned out that the business became a hit to a lot of customers! The owner then went on to study Pastry and Bakery Arts at the International School for Culinary Arts and Hotel Management (ISCAHM) Cebu for a year and grad

uated last February 13, 2016 with a bronze medal award for their in-house competition, and a medal for 3rd honor in class. She also received a Diploma in her field and an Australian Certificate as well. This is just the beginning of the journey of Mwana and we are looking forward to filling your tummies with sweet goodness!

HELLO EVERYONE!
Thank you to everyone who have recently still been asking of our services, despite how inactive we have been here on our online page.
Sadly, we had to indefinitely put operations on hold to completely focus on the treatments our little star, our Mwana, Tiyoy, for his journey to healing with his leukemia. In line with that, we hope for your continued support as we will only be taking a break and will soon come back with a fresh start when ready :)
We ask for your understanding and, if possible, your prayers to keep our little boy fighting this battle against cancer. See you all very soon! WE SHALL RETURN! :*

HAPPY AND BLESSED SUNDAY TO US ALL! 😊

Here to grace us with a beautiful day is Chocay and our recent project, 3D Louis Vuitton Handbag cake for Elizabeth Iroma and family! Thank you so much 😘

Chocolate Moist Cake with Diplomat cream filling carved into the shape of the bag, frosted smoothly with Dark Chocolate Ganache, accented with fondant details and hand painted design for the LV prints with gold lustre dust. All this done while the little boy was on to his treatments for his ALL 💪🏻

TEAM NO SLEEP! 😎

Goodmorning Mommies, Daddies, ladies, gents, kids, and everybody else! It's another beautiful Saturday, and I wanna take the rest of the day off to sleep, and sleep, and sleep 😍 BUT ALAS! I cannot as there's so much work to do plus treatment for the little Mwana is today! So I'm gonna need my mahiwagang bato and turn myself into the Filipino Wonderwoman, Darna 🤣 and hope for the best of this day haha!

A very special cake made for an old friend for his birthday AND courtship celebration with his significant other! ❤

Storytime!
My friend had asked me to make a cake meant for him but meant for the girl he was courting 🤔 He asked our friends to be in on the plan where they got a "surprise" birthday cake which was to be given by baby girl to baby boy, but as she opened the box, it turned out to be a BE MINE cake for her! Sweeeet ❤ and we got to be a part of this special moment! Witness it all here 😍 Enjoy!
