β€œHorses never run away from war.
In fact, they laugh at it.
Because to them, it’s just a game. ”

After a series of crimes in the city of Merlin, authorities are searching for the person responsible for all the killings. One man named Rob is wearing the same hat as those assigned to bring justice to the chaos. His duty isn't easy, he has no image in his head about the body figure, face, or background of who he is looking for. His enemy is suited into any uniform he wears, they can be anyone. His eyes are blind to danger, he doesn't run or hide from it, in fact, he calmly walks across the enemy's eyes. And they can do nothing about it because, no matter what strategic plan they made that fits in any circumstance, sheep like them aren't designed to catch the horse.

Inspired by Franz Kafka’s The Metamorphosis, this comedy-drama short film explores the extent of human free will told from the perspective of a cockroach.

Free will is one of the most wonderful gifts that God has given us. He allows us to have the freedom to choose between life and death. He gave us the freedom to create whatever we want to build. He gave us the liberty to explore ourselves, to find the worst parts within us, and to transform them into better versions of ourselves. There are countless reasons why humans are the most special species, and free will is at the top of those reasons.

But what if we are wrong to think that having free will makes us special among other species? Yes, we can choose whatever we want. We can be good, we can be bad, or even worse.
But are we truly sure? Could it be that free will does not elevate us, but instead exposes the darkest parts of our nature? We hold the power to shape our actions. We can honour the rules or defy them, fully aware of the consequences.

It is up to us to close our eyes to the truth and choose ignorance. What if, in the eyes of a cockroach, humanity appears as the most grotesque species more disturbing than the creatures we consider filthy?
