Scripture tells us that our lives are like a v***r (James 4:14)—here one moment, gone the next. None of us knows the hour we will stand before our Creator. Death does not consult our calendars or wait for a more convenient season. Therefore, “Come to Christ while there is time.” Today is the day of salvation (2 Cor. 6:2). To delay is to gamble with the most precious thing you possess—your soul.
Confess your true condition: “Your righteousness is rags” (Isa. 64:6). Even our best efforts are stained by sin and self-interest. We cannot earn God’s favor, reform ourselves into holiness, or climb our way to heaven. But there is good news: “His grace is riches.” In Christ, God offers full pardon, perfect righteousness, and eternal life—not as a wage earned, but a gift freely given. Come to Him in faith. He will cover your shame with His righteousness and pay your debt in full.
