Touching the world, a little each day.
In actual fact, that was how Kitchen27 PNG started 5 years ago in beautiful Wewak, ESP. Cake Gifting.
My husband and I decided to gift our neighbor's bubu with a cake for her birthday π,Β instead of the regular 'bring a dish of food' we do in most of our PNG Community b**g kaikai.
Without realizing, our cake gift became a hit and our neighbors started asking if I can open up for orders and just like that, we had opened for business by demand.
Ann Frank said, "No one has ever become poor by giving". This cake gifting, cake baking journey has been one that have taken us into places and homes we have never dreamed of going and for that, I will ALWAYS be grateful to Yahveh for.
From our humble first home kitchen at Moem Barracks Wewak (my husband was serving as an Officer there back then), from battling Power and Water Outages, limited cake supplies in the shops whilst commiting to Customer order deadlines, it had taught us perseverance and dedication. This journey had taken us to beautiful people in places like the 2nd Battalion Royal Pacifc Regiment Companies, the officer's mess and the wonderful soldiers and their families, Mrs Joanne Bird and the Village Inn, the APEC Haus, National Fisheries, BSP, Nasfund, BPNG, DT Global, the Governor General's Office, World Vision, and many more my memory is not doing this post justice. But mostly at the heart of it, it's the incredible families and mostly Childrenπ₯ΊΒ that have allowed us to be part of their special days. I will ALWAYS be grateful for every single one of my customers, your faith in my developing hobby has given me confidence from when I first started to where I am now.
I had the gift to be a SAHM in the years 2020- 2022 and had dedicated full time in posting and sharing our space here. But since the end of 2022 till present I had taken up my passion to serve again in the Health Profession (I am a Medical Laboratory Scientist by grace), I have not spent much time in updating this space of our beautiful world.
I am currently on Maternity leave, our family of three had been blessed with a precious sweet girl and I had been reflecting a lot on coming back here a
