Hi everyone! Thank you so so much to those who are still thinking of That Dessert Shop for your celebration and filling out our custom cake form through our website.

Just a reminder I am not taking any more orders, the year has been very busy so far with our remaining bookings, while working full time and arranging our life as we are getting ready to move to Nelson for my husband's work very shortly.

If you are missing our scrolls, thank you for your emails by the way I love the support 💛, they are still available at the Blatch Bros Cafe in Winton where I bake them fresh everyday 😊

Hi everyone! Hope you've had a great Christmas with your families and a lovely start to this new year! Wishing you a great 2026! We are back this week with our cakes for the new year 💛

I would like to announce that due to planning on going on a long overseas holiday later in the year and also coming across a great opportunity for my family to be moving to the Tasman district in the near future, our operations are being paused in Southland and we won't be taking any new orders or bookings (Any current bookings will remain as planned)

I do plan to restart in Nelson in the future and research the possibility of shipping our fresh baking to you 🫶

I just want to show so much gratitude. Having been able to bring to life this business which I had been planning for the last three years has been amazing. I wouldn't have done it without very special people that have supported me, my amazing husband and specially Andrea you have been so kind throughout, thank you so much!

Almost a year in, I never imagined how fast this business would progress in such short period of time. I have learnt a lot in this process and I'm so thankful for each of one of you who have supported this small business since the start of our journey or joined along the way. It's always been a joy delivering to you with a smile.

So THANK YOU for welcoming us into your home, into your special moments and celebrations.
