It’s been a funny old week here at Happy Hens Waihi with the gorge closed.

Nevertheless we have some exciting new products in our farm shop. From Kitchen Window we have stocked some of their new products. They look remarkable and we hope you’ll like them too.

Also we have sourced some certified organic asparagus. It looks delicious and is fresh and beautiful.

We have a wonderful range of frozen gourmet meals which make dinner a synch and don’t forget about the new chocolate layer cake icecream from Duck Island.

Tessa has restocked some Dubai chocolate from Fruney in the shop which we know a lot of you have been waiting for.

We have lots of Mingle products too. These make mealtimes easy and there’s no nasties so you can feel great about that.

The Out of the Wild petfood freezer is freshly stocked so your fur babies will be well taken care of.

We have everything here at Happy Hens Waihi. Our eggs are superb, there’s a reason everyone loves them. You can’t beat the taste and flavour. Our chickens have unlimited food, water and space to live their best lives. We care deeply about them.

We have lots of beautiful animals here. Bring the kids to feed the chickens and see the goats, alpacas, turkeys and the peacock.

For the animal lovers.

Tina the Turkey appeared the other day with TEN babies. Clever girl. And guess who is the father? It’s the Hoff. Poor Tommee. The new kid on the block elbowed him out of the way and got frisky with Tina.

We’ve locked her up for a few days as she’ll charge back into the paddock and it’s a jungle out there. Needless to say she’s furious. Her babies are thriving though.

Meanwhile Percy the Peacock is showing off to the chickens and sleeping in the big tree in our front paddock.

Big news for the Duck Island icecream lovers. A new flavour has landed! Chocolate Layer Cake Icecream. Here is the description: rich chocolate icecream packed with chunks of chocolate layer cake frosted with tangy chocolate cream cheese icing and scattered with salty malty milk crumbs. How yum does that sound!

It’s the last day of school holidays for some, why not pop in and grab supplies. It’s also the last day of our big egg sale as well so if you need eggs this is the day.

Tessa is in the shop all day ready to say hi.

Our Monster Tray Special at Happy Hens Waihi continues today. All our trays have had their prices smashed but not for long. You can grab a mixed tray for $15, a tray of no 7s for $20 and the big eggs size 9 for $25.

Tessa is in the farm shop today and has gone crazy and slashed our zero sugar sauces too.

Percy the peacock is floating around the carpark looking fabulous and the chickens are ready to say hi.

Grab some gourmet popcorn, a frozen dinner and icecream and that’s your day sorted. Bring the kids to feed the chickens. It’s all going on here today.

Happy Friday night from the team here at Happy Hens Waihi.

Wow have we sold some trays today. Our monster special continues through the weekend providing our eggs last! If you don’t want to miss out you may want to get in quick☺️. Tessa is in the shop all weekend doing spot specials too so come in and say hi, she would love to see you.

We are opposite Waimata School and are open 7 days.

For those who missed it: Trays of mixed eggs are $15, trays of no 7s are $20 and trays of the monster XLs are $25. Bargains galore.

MONSTER SCHOOL HOLIDAY EGG SALE. Kicks off tomorrow at Happy Hens Waihi.

All trays heavily discounted for 3 days only. Stock up, bake with the kids, fill the freezer with goodies and go nuts. The chickens are feeling really happy with the spring weather and are producing beautifully.

This will go until stocks last. Bring the kids to feed the chickens and see the animals. Enjoy an icecream outside and feel all the joy of being outdoors at the moment ☺️.

If you are out and about this weekend why not call in to Happy Hens Waihi. We have a farm shop chockablock with fantastic produce, flowers, fresh free range eggs and more. There is something for everyone here.

Bring the kids to feed the chickens and see the other animals.

If you need an easy dinner we have lots of gourmet frozen meals and desserts plus gourmet icecream too. Or if artisan bread, olives and cheese is your thing we have all the goodies here.

We’ve had gorgeous warratah bunches of flowers arrive in our farm shop at Happy Hens Waihi. These are superb and last for ages in a vase.

Don’t forget about our cheese offcut range too. Great value for money and it means you can use your favourite cheese with abandon (we grate and freeze ours).

A new shipment of Liberty Growers greens are here. This range is just the very best. So fresh and crunchy. With the odd bit of warmer weather, salads are making more of an appearance ☺️.

Our eggs are beautifully fresh, huge in size and you can’t beat the free range flavour.

Pop in and see us, we would love a catch up.
