With spring just around the corner, we have already started our prep for the coming season. We are still taking orders for the 2023/2024 season.

- Over Wintered Queens $60 - Available from Mid-August (due to cancelled order we have 200 available)

We are looking for someone to work with us - kiwi queens. No experience needed with the bees. Needs to be available Mon-Fri . Occasional night shifts and weekend work during busy season. Heavy lifting 30-40kg boxes and some big hours during harvest / pollination. 6 month position with opportunities for the right person.

Long overdue introduction to the Kiwi Queens team! We are a small family business located in Tapawera, Tasman. Matt has 16 years beekeeping experience and has previously ran genetics & queen program at a large commercial beekeeping operation. Sarah does the admin, marketing, emails and looks after our littlest beekeeper Gracie. We have another wee beekeeper due Feb 2022.
We have some great workers come help cage during the peak season. We wouldn’t be here without our customers. So thank you to all our passionate beekeepers.
