The 2016 Lyttelton Rose Show will be held on November 26, in the Rec Centre on Winchester Street. The Lyttelton Rose Show started in the early nineteen hundreds and was held every two years, until the September 2010 earthquakes put a halt to proceedings. Categories to be judged included, horticulture, baking, preserves and home crafts, with entries from all age groups. Local schools were encourag

ed to participate, with sand saucers being a very popular entry. This year we are intending to keep the theme of
traditional categories, with a few tweaks. The Rose Show will be held late November and we will update our information with time and place when we are able. Thanks for your interest, we can't wait!!

Remember to deliver entries to the Rec Centre between 7- 9am so that they can be judged in the show.
