Volunteer Spotlight - Tash Kirby - Sugar & Slice

Tash is currently our longest cake decorating volunteer dating back to August 2022. Her talent is evident and anyone in the kitchen on the same day is always in awe.

I asked Tash about her birthday's as a kid.

"My birthday cakes as a kid were always made by my mum or grandma, usually based on an idea from the classic Women's Weekly birthday cookbook - one of my favourites was the piano with the chocolate keys!"

With freedom from the customer with the colour scheme, I decided to go with pink (the colour of gratitude) and try a combo with sage and white. Love it 😀
