DAD DESERVES BETTER THAN SOCKS.

This Father’s Day, we’ve got something a little more indulgent.

Our Salted Caramel Chocolate Mousse Cake — rich chocolate mousse, salted caramel and a decadent brownie base, finished with a beautiful chocolate coating.

The kind of dessert Dad probably won’t want to share.

POP UP TOMORROW!

Well, that week disappeared! 😳

I’ll be back at Te Pou o Mata Au – Balclutha Town Hall tomorrow from 10am–12pm with the van loaded up with freshly baked Bannerman’s goodies.

Expect plenty of sourdough, pastries, cinnamon scrolls and other treats for the weekend.

And there’s a good chance the coffee lady will be joining me again, so you can grab your coffee and something delicious to go with it!

No market, no fuss — just a little Saturday morning Bannerman’s pop-up.

Geez… where has the week gone?! 😳

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately, so I thought it was about time I popped back up!

First up, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along to the Hello Spring Market. What a fantastic day — even with some pretty wild weather thrown into the mix! There were so many amazing stalls, makers and artisans, and it was brilliant to see such a great crowd come along and support them.

And a massive well done to the team at The Cross Centre too. The pack-in and pack-out was seriously impressive — an absolute well-oiled machine!

I’ll be back down at Te Pou O Mata Au this weekend with the Bannerman’s pop-up, so if you missed me at Hello Spring, come and say hi!

There’ll be plenty of good things coming along, including some of the usual favourites… and a few new things I’ve been playing around with too.

And yes… this weather has definitely put soups & sourdough back on the home menu again! 🍞

We’ll be at the Hello Spring Market tomorrow at the Cross Recreation Centre in Balclutha, and we’re bringing a whole lot of baking with us!

Come and say hello and grab some of your favourites, including:

🌾 Testing is underway…

There’s something new on the bench at Bannerman’s.

I’m currently working on a new all-seed loaf made from 100% gluten-free ingredients. Loaded with pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flaxseed and buckwheat, I’m aiming for a loaf that’s full of flavour, satisfying, and something a little different.

It’s still in the testing stage, but I’m really excited about how it’s coming together.

As always, it won’t make it onto the website until I’m completely happy with it.
