It’s been a while… hope everyone is keeping safe during this lockdown! Just realized I forgot to post this piece of art 🤦🏽‍♀️

Made this a couple months back for a first birthday of little Pou… This was for the big birthday party! Pou loves the sea and sea creatures so that’s the theme we went with… mama let me know of his most favorite sea creatures and I incorporated those in the design 😇

Inside is my decadent chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and layered with Ferrero Rochers 😋😋😋 covered in fondant and all sea creatures and sea bed elements are handcrafted and made of fondant 🐙🦀🐢🦑🌊

Here’s our party bus enroute to little Ronav’s 2nd birthday celebrations 🎉🥳 He couldn’t celebrate his first birthday thanks to our first round of lockdown so this one was a special event! 💜

A bit behind on posting some of my recent cakes... here we have a Coffee Chocolate Cake layered with coffee cream cheese icing and topped with Coffee Chocolate Ganache! Definitely the go to cake for when you might need to pull an all-nighter! 😅

This was specifically ordered for a local cricket team ‘Roskill Wolves’ and the figurine on the top is their Captain... my attempt was to make him look like the real person! 🙎🏽‍♂️😬 it was ordered for the Captain’s birthday but thanks to lockdowns it ended up being made for the day the team ended up winning the season! so turned out to be a celebratory cake for the team as well! Howzzat!!? 🏏



P.S. - hasn’t happened to me in a very long time but this was one of those days when things were kinda not going as planned... decided to make Mr. Captain sit on the sides of the cake... only he refused to sit and kept falling down! Did everything right so really not sure what was going on 🤷🏽‍♀️😠 Was a bit of a challenge... this cake decorator wasn’t a very happy person that morning... but luckily he made it in the end 😅😳😨

And here are the Farm Themed Cupcakes (made 40 of them! 😅) with Shawn the Sheep on them 🐑🐑🐑

The cupcakes were an equal mix of the following flavors:
1) Orange and coconut - made with fresh oranges 🍊 and real coconut 🥥 Topped with orange flavored buttercream

2) Strawberry and cream - made with real strawberries 🍓 Topped with strawberry and cream flavored buttercream

Shawn the sheep cupcake topper was handcrafted and is made of fondant...

Just loving incorporating fresh fruit where I can in the cakes.. I prefer it over using just the flavor extracts... it adds that extra freshness and richness to the taste!!!

Was informed that the cake and the cupcakes went down a treat!!! 😇😇😇 Scroll to the end to see the lovely message I received from the mum 💜

Spent my day off this week creating this fun rustic Farm Themed Cake and cupcakes to celebrate Little Audren’s 2nd birthday being celebrated at an animal farm!

I had loads of fun creating flavour combinations that I hadn’t done before! Hence the 2 separate posts for the cake and the cupcakes 😊😊😊

The cake here is a Rose and Vanilla Cake layered with rose and vanilla flavored buttercream and topped with handcrafted farm cake toppers/decorations made of fondant!

You turn ONE just once in your life! And a Boss Baby themed cake is probably the most perfect cake to celebrate them first 365 days!

The top tier is an eggless vanilla cake layered with vanilla buttercream and the bottom tier is an eggless chocolate cake layered with chocolate ganache... both tiers covered with fondant and edible icing images of boss baby 😎

It’s been quite a week for me juggling my various jobs but the end result made the sleep deprived night worth it 😊😇

Another tiny tot turning 5! Josh obviously loves Spiderman 😊😊😊

Here is a chocolate cake layered with chocolate ganache and covered with buttercream to achieve the 2 colour effect and topped with some messy webs that Spiderman and his spidey mates left behind 🤨🤨🤨but we’ll forgive them this time 😅😄😬

Princess Belle themed cake for Hridhya’s 5th birthday... so special to see the delight on her face when she saw the cake... she was eager to dress up in her Belle outfit to match the cake and then pluck a rose off the cake! 🌹😅😇

The top tier is a Pineapple Cake full of real pineapples and layered with Vanilla Buttercream ... yummmm!!!

The bottom tier is my eggless Chocolate Cake layered with rich Chocolate Ganache... 🤩🤩🤩

Both the tiers are covered with fondant and topped with handcrafted decorations... 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
