Two of our wonderful RISE Academy students are the wonderful Matildas in Blenheim Musical Theatre’s Matilda the musical! Alice Kingi plays Matilda for the squits cast and Addison Campbell for the Newts cast. They are joined by Academy tutors Rhys Hingston as Miss Trunchbull and James Dight in the adult ensemble.

WOW!! It has been 6 whole months already since we rebranded to RISE Academy Music and Performing Arts! ✨

And what an incredible 6 months it has been…

A brand new building, bigger musical theatre classes, more classes available in evey discipline and exciting new adventures (hello Junior & Senior Disney Jr shows) !
More tutors, more opportunities, and unforgettable experiences including taking our two Musical Theatre Troupes to JTFNZ in October!
The Forge Recording Studio has opened its doors within RISE 🎙️
An amazing end-of-year recital that we’re still buzzing from...
AND our musical theatre room now has its brand new dance floor ready for plenty of toe-tapping moments.

We are so proud of how far we’ve come in such a short time and so grateful for our incredible community who continue to grow, support, and RISE with us.
