And with this tenth birthday cake for my own teenager I say goodbye to all of you sweethearts!
I truly found a new love in my “new” job which also suits me and my little family nowadays very well. So it’s the end of an era, but it’s definitive now, My Sweet Dear is closed as from now on.
All of you that supported me all those years with your likes, comments, smiles, orders, recommendations, chit chats and especially the smiles of your sweet sweet kiddos, my beloved little customers - THANK YOU SO MUCH! You all touched my heart with this. I can’t describe how important each one of you was for my little business.

Last week I had a caption in mind for this pic. About one more cake to bake bla bla bla. But I didn’t post it. I was busy enjoying baking that last cake, enjoying the free weekend in months that followed and after that enjoying my time working on new projects for my new job. So time flies and I’m having fun! And despite the fact I turned a lot of orders down for the next few months I’m sure there will be a moment I’ll be baking again. But for now I’m enjoying my new working routine as it comes. In the meantime; don’t go, I won’t too! 🩷🫶🏻

Which we celebrate as two oldies in bed with tea and television. 😂😂
And of course with this cake for Lennox that I got to make a few weeks ago. A big surprise for me cause when Lennox and his sweet family of six moved to the USA a while ago, I wasn’t counting on baking for them again. But being temporarily back in Holland they asked me to bake him some birthday sweetness and boy how pleased I was with that. 🥰

Baby blue for baby Joey. Did you know that ages ago blue was the traditional color for girls and pink for boys? They say that in the 1940s it turned the other way around. And thank God nowadays it’s all ok, just choose any color you like and love the little munchkin. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
