Some Mondays, I need the reminder that meaningful work doesn’t always look impressive.

Colossians 3:23 brings me back to the heart behind what I do. The quiet preparation, the care I give someone, and the task nobody notices can all be ways of honouring God.

Working with all my heart doesn’t mean pushing myself beyond my limits or getting everything perfect. It means bringing care, honesty and intention to what is in front of me—and remembering who I’m doing it for.

As this week begins, I want to spend less energy measuring my progress against someone else’s and more energy being faithful with what God has placed in my hands.

Chocolate and dulce de leche are a beautiful combination, but the best part is seeing how the whole cake comes together. 🍫

In this video, I take you from the chocolate cake layers to the filling and the final finish. Each step matters: how you build the layers affects how the cake looks when you cut into it, and taking your time with the finish makes all those flavours feel like one cake.
