Went to the Westerpark market yesterday, purely to look around rather than selling cakes, and it was such a different experience. Much more enjoy doing individual orders these days :-)

Today I've made 60 vanilla and chocolate cupcakes themed for a craft store opening with 'balls of yarn' and 'buttons' on the top - all edible of course!

So, I was asked to make a cake for a friends boyfriends birthday. Something personal.
Apparently he's a big 'back to the future fan', so, here's my version of the De Lorean for his birthday.
This is the 3rd decorated cake I've ever done and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

Yesterday I planted loads of fruit, including strawberries, so here's hoping they come up soon so I can make some more yummy strawberries & cream cupcakes. Nom nom nom :-)

Great kings day (also my birthday) selling cakes on the Lauriersgracht in Amsterdam. Carrot cake was the winner once again!
