This is for everyone who requested for my premium Chocolate ganache recipe! For those that said I should leave them alone🙄, I will not!😂🤣 duh!🙄
This video explains the 2:1 ratio for making Ganache!
I have broken it down so that you can easily make your own ganache according to the quantity you need for your cake and to avoid any waste!
Chocolate ganache can be used to cover your cakes for a firm base before placing your fondant or even SMBC buttercream!! It can also serve for making and covering dessert cakes, can be used for drips as well( you will need a lighter consistency and pipping bag for this) .

For the cake in the video, an 8inches 5layers cake ,
I used ;

500g of dark chocolate : 250g of double cream.
