They said, “Serve the Kings.”
We said, “Say less.”🤭🤭

Harmonious Confectionery serving small chops at the 39th Anniversary Celebration of Akwa Ibom State.

We clearly understood the assignment.👌

But let me tell you what happened behind these few seconds of content because, guys…😂😭

Normally, we create our content at the bakery after packaging, before heading out for delivery. But this time was different because we were required to fry on..site so the guests could enjoy their small chops fresh and hot.🤭
So, content had to wait🥺
We got to the venue and, as instructed by the event planner, we immediately arranged the first 150 raffia baskets. With just a few minutes to our serving time, we started frying.
And then it was time.😭😂

The moment we started serving, THE RUSH😩
Guyssssss, there was no time to be forming content creator.😂
My camera? Forgotten.
My videos? Forgotten.
My “let me get some BTS” plan? Completely forgotten😭
At that point, I had one job…satisfy my clients and make sure every guest got served properly.👌
It wasn’t until later that I suddenly realized…

WAIT. I HAVE NOT TAKEN ONE SINGLE VIDEO 😭😭😭

How am i supposed to tell my people that I served at this event without Evidence😩
And to make matters worse, only the stewards were permitted to serve inside the event hall, me that was planning to make videos in the hall while my team were serving😂 and it was already getting dark outside.
The lighting was not exactly giving content creator friendly😂

So while arranging the last 50 sets, I started negotiating…

I had to beg the stewards already on ground to please give me a few minutes so I could capture some content before everything was gone.😂

My people literally switched on their phone torches for extra lighting and thankfully… we got a few clips🥺

Honestly, beyond the content, this was such a beautiful and fulfilling experience for us.

From preparing everything, frying on-site, serving fresh, handling the rush, and seeing everything come together…
We delivered.👌🏽✨

The last two weeks have been some of the BUSIEST weeks for me as a business owner😩❤️

From meeting up with yogurt supplies and cake orders to graduating my three Queens and delivering over 200 packs of small chops for the Akwa Ibom State Anniversary…
Omo, it was A LOT😭

But guess what? WE DELIVERED👌🔥
And my students??? They Ateeeeee🙌🙌

Trust me, our businesses are not suffering, we’re just so busy building, creating, baking, delivering and handling the beautiful chaos behind the scenes that we barely have time to show you what’s been happening😊

Sometimes, the silence on social media is simply a sign that we’re putting in the work offline🥹

POV: You went offline to handle the business you’ve been praying for😩

They told us to be consistent, but nobody prepared us for the days when running a business feels like carrying the whole world on your head.😂

Between orders, production, restocking, and trying to keep everything running, social media had to take the back seat for a while🙈

But guess what? We’re still here, still baking, still creating, and still building this dream one order at a time🥹

So here’s to showing up again, and giving you a little more of the magic that happens in our bakery..
