One of the things that motivates me to keep going is the genuine feedback and the real impact my work makes.

It’s the little messages like:👇

Your cake is so soft, it melts in the mouth.
I traveled with your yogurt and it was still perfect when I arrived.
Your Greek yogurt is so thick and creamy..
Your granola is everything I needed. Very crunchy and nutty.
My wife loved the wedding cake, or My child couldn’t stop talking about her birthday cake.
The treats I ordered were so nice!

Then there are the ones that hit deeper:
This helped me.
I needed this.
You inspire me.
I love reading from you.

It’s hard to explain how much those words mean, but they remind me why I started. Even on tough days, knowing that someone somewhere feels joy, comfort, or encouragement through what I do, that’s more than enough reason to keep showing up.

A few years ago, I took on a client order I knew I should’ve said “no” to.

The timing was tight, the request was outside my comfort zone, and my gut kept saying, “This isn’t it.” But I didn’t want to disappoint, so I accepted it.

It was a small chops order for an event about 120 packs. Payment didn’t even come in until a day before.

Long story short, I worked all through the night till 11am the next day.

Honestly, I don’t know who invented the name small chops because there’s nothing small about it. They should’ve named it Odogwu Chops😭😭

Logistics and packaging delayed me, but I still pushed to deliver before 1pm.

By the time I got home, I crashed. I was sick, exhausted, stressed, my feet were literally on fire. Worst part? The profit didn’t even make sense. I undercharged badly.

I was so disappointed not because I didn’t try, I was disappointed because I ignored my instincts.

What I learnt?
Not every opportunity is a blessing, Some “yeses” will drain you and cost more than they give. Some “no’s” will save your peace, health, and sanity….

Now? I trust my gut, price my worth and protect my sanity📌

I don’t just teach skills, I genuinely care about everyone that walks through our doors..

Behind the cakes and content is someone who genuinely wants people to learn, grow, feel seen, and feel safe. I don’t always get it right, but every single thing I share here comes from a real place.

Every class, every student, every moment, I carry it in prayers because I want more for them than just success in the bakery, I want peace, growth, direction, and favor to follow them beyond this space.

This brand is more than a business, it’s a piece of my heart.
It’s the late nights, the risks, the faith, the lessons, and the people, “YOU” who make this space what it is.

remember when a close baker friend asked me to help decorate a cake because she was out of town.

She sent two layers of a size 10 cake on two separate boards but didn’t mention that they were to be decorated differently…

My people, na so I join the two together and gave it one fine decoration ooo😂
When she came to pick it up, her eye first blur😂

That single misunderstanding caused tension ans loss between us.

Poor communication between a vendor and a client can ruin what could’ve been a great business relationship.

It can lead to mistrust, delays, frustration, loss, dissatisfaction, and deep disappointment.

Whether you’re the vendor or the client, one thing remains true:

Clear, honest, and timely communication is key📌

Say exactly what you want, give full details, and ask questions when confused.
It saves everybody unnecessary stress. 🙌

Most of you probably don’t know this, but I’m a sweet Yoruba girl😉
Yes, I’m proudly from Lagos State born and raised right here in Akwa Ibom State💛
