Some people think the hardest part of this business is baking or making the snacks.

Sometimes... it's everything that comes after.

Last weekend, these snacks were meant for a child's dedication. The kind of event you can't postpone because your vendor couldn't make it.

Then the rain started.

Not the kind of rain you simply wait out. The roads became difficult, movement was stressful, and every minute that passed, I kept thinking about one thing: "A family is waiting for these."

At that moment, I had two choices.
I could call with excuses and ask them to understand...

Or I could do everything possible to make sure their celebration wasn't affected.

I chose the second.

I carefully protected every pack, made the journey myself, and kept going until I arrived. By the time I handed over the snacks and saw the relief on their faces, every challenge on the road suddenly felt worth it.

That moment reminded me of something I never want to forget.
