Did I say trick yesterday? 👀
Yes, I did..
For it to have remained fresh for 13years
I'd like to say to you that there's a trick to it
And I'm going to reveal it to you in a minute..
But before then.. I want to ask you a question
What would you say of a party; a birthday party or a wedding party without a cake?
Like...no cake at a birthday party..
What would you call that?
Maybe a thrift contribution meeting.. 😂👻
Cos me I know that cakes are for happy moments
Even though some people use cakes at burial ceremonies
(Funerals could be happy moments too tho.. it depends)
But a party without a cake is just a meeting. Periodt
Lest I forget, I was gon talk about the trick
Here it is;
INJECTION
Despite the use of generator, NEPA still couldn't help when we need them..
There could be black out for months (Giant of Africa indeed)
What did she then do?
So for it to last longer, the cake was brought out every month and with the use of a new #20 (now #40) syringe
She injects a little amount of dry gin into the cake and discard the syringe..
She returns the cake to the fridge and we hear nothing about the cake until the next month
And she did that for 13 good years.. Gracious goodness 😳
She's not eating the cake nor planning to in the nearest future
Even tho I had a bite of it when I examined it last month
It was still as fresh as ever..
It's gon be preserved for very long time to come..
..until she sees mold or it starts to draw and become stale
But now;
After 13years of her wedding, she still has a tier of her wedding cake that has refused to turn stale in her refrigerator
It is fun ⛷️🤹
