Today, we celebrate 10 incredible years of Gbene's Cakes and More!
Every 24th April reminds me of the birth of this wonderful business.
So here is our little birth story 👇👇👇
I was just a hobby baker, baking just for family,
not until 2015 when this lovely idea came to mind.
Then I was a young stay at home Mum of kids of ages 3 and 1.
On that beautiful sunny day in April,the thoughts came to mind👉WHY NOT TURN THESE SWEET BAKING SKILLS INTO A BUSINESS?
At first I wanted to ignore but it was so pressing on my mind. Like many,I wondered how and where to start 😄😄😄.
I started telling my family and friends about my new business and boom we got our first order from my eldest sister Barinua Gloria Lebari-nwidag to bake a birthday cake for my niece.
The joy,the excitement was overwhelming. So on the 24th of April 2015 we officially sent out our first order....A birthday cake 🎂 🎂.
10 years today,that small home business has grown into this brand Gbene's Cakes and More and hundreds and thousands of Cakes and pastries have gone out of our doors.
We are not there yet but we are glad at where God has brought us.
