Decadent Chocolate Layer Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
Cake:
1% cups flour
½ cup cocoa powder.
2 cups sugar
1½ tsp baking powder
1½ tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1 cup milk
cup vegetable oil
1 cup boiling water
Frosting:
1 cup butter
2 cups powdered sugar
½ cup cocoa powder
2 tbsp heavy cream
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line 3 cake pans
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Stir in boiling water.
Divide batter between pans and bake 30-35 mins. Cool completely.
For frosting, beat butter until fluffy, then mix in powdered sugar, cocoa, and cream.
Assemble cake, layering frosting between layers and on top. Garnish with chocolate shavings,
