FROM MINNA TO JOS: A NEW LOCATION, A BIGGER VISION!
Have you ever been at the point of starting something new in a place where nobody knows you, nobody knows your brand, and you have no idea what the outcome will be?
That was me.
Sometimes, the fear of starting a business in a new location is not necessarily about the business itself. It's the uncertainty that comes with starting all over again.
Will people accept me?
Will they patronize my business?
Will I grow?
How long will it take before things begin to make sense?
What if I invest everything I have ,and it doesn't work out?
The questions can be endless, and if you allow them, they can keep you stuck in the same place where God is asking you to move forward.
But here's what I'm learning: you don't have to know how everything will work out before you take the first step. Sometimes, you just need a clear vision, the courage to begin, and faith in the God who sent you.
Last year, I relocated to Minna and started Kandy Kakes Milky Peanuts.
Honestly, I didn't have all the answers. I couldn't predict how far the business would go or how people would receive it. I was human, and I had my uncertainties. But one thing I had was a vision, and the Word of God was my backbone.
I started anyway.
And God helped me.
Today, I've moved on from Minna, but one of the most beautiful parts of my story is that the business has continued even after I left the location where it began.
Think about that for a moment.
What started with uncertainty in Minna has become a testimony that I can carry into another season of my life.
And now, here I am in Jos, Plateau State, embracing another new beginning!
But something has changed in me.
I'm no longer standing here asking, “Will this business survive in a new location?”
My mindset is shifting. My faith is rising. My vision is expanding.
Now, I'm asking myself, “Am I ready for the level of growth, the volume of sales, the opportunities, and the exploits God is about to bring my way?”
Can you see the difference?
The fear that once questioned whether I could make it is giving way to the faith that prepares me for what is ahead.
I'm not saying I have everything figured out. I'm saying that I have seen God help me before, and that testimony gives me the courage to trust Him again.
Minna was part of my story, but it is not the limit of my story. Jos is another chapter, not a reason to start doubting what God can do through me.
And to every entrepreneur who is afraid to start again, relocate, expand, or introduce their business to a new audience, let this encourage you:
You may be unknown in that location, but that doesn't mean your business cannot become known.
You may have to build your customer base from scratch, but you don't have to build without faith, wisdom, consistency, and a willingness to learn.
Don't let the fear of the unknown become bigger than the vision you carry.
Start. Show up. Serve people well. Keep improving. Trust God through the process.
As for me, I decree that I am stepping into a season that is 10 times better! The Lord has made room for me, and I am preparing myself to occupy that space with excellence.
My light cannot be dimmed.
My vision will not be buried.
My business will not be limited by the boundaries of one location.
From Nassarrawa to Minna and now to Jos, the story continues. The vision lives on. And by God's grace, the best is yet to come! 🙌🏽❤️
