From Corps Member to Full-Time Staff: My Journey at Esosa Food Systems

When I joined Food Systems and Innovation as a corps member, I came in with a sense of uncertainty. Like many young , I simply wanted to serve, give my best, and complete the year successfully. What I didn’t anticipate was how transformative the would turn out to be.

From the very beginning, I was not treated as “just a corps member” or “just an intern.” Instead, I was given the to contribute meaningfully, collaborate with the team, and learn. This exposure shaped my mindset and deepened my appreciation for workplace excellence and .

One of the most impactful moments for me was participating in a with the management team. It gave me a strong sense of belonging and the chance to hear directly from our Managing Director about the company’s innovation plans, mission, and vision. Listening to this firsthand strengthened my belief in the ’s future and the role every member plays in achieving it.

What also stands out about Esosa Food Systems is the of growth and support.
