🤝 THE GODLY YOUTH — EPISODE 4: FRIENDSHIPS AND INFLUENCE 🤝

Friendship is a powerful gift but it can also be a dangerous trap if not guided by wisdom. The people you walk with shape who you become. That’s why the Bible warns, “Do not be misled: bad company corrupts good character.” (1 Corinthians 15:33)

As a youth, it’s easy to want to fit in, to be accepted, to be part of the crowd. But godly friendship isn’t about popularity rather it’s about purpose. Real friends help you grow in Christ, not pull you away from Him. They challenge you to do better, pray with you, and correct you in love.

Ask yourself: Who are the voices influencing my life? The truth is, you can’t walk closely with people who don’t share your values and expect to stay strong in faith. Influence is contagious so make sure you’re being influenced by people who push you toward God, not away from Him.

✨ Be the kind of friend who inspires others to love God more. Friendship isn’t just about having fun, it’s about building one another spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Surround yourself with people who pray, encourage, and speak life into your purpose.

đź“– Proverbs 13:20 (NIV):
“Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.”

đź’ Reflection:
Are my friendships helping me grow in Christ or leading me away from Him?

🙏 Short Prayer:
Lord, help me choose my friends wisely. Give me godly companions who will strengthen my walk with You. And help me to be a light and positive influence to others. Amen...

✨ Choose friends who lift your spirit, not those who drain your faith. ✨

🙏 THE GODLY YOUTH — EPISODE 3: THE POWER OF PRAYER 🙏

Prayer is not just something we do when we’re in trouble — it’s how we build a relationship with God. It’s the key that opens heaven’s doors and brings peace into our hearts. As a godly youth, prayer should be your lifestyle, not your last resort.

Many young people today are losing touch with prayer because the world makes it look “boring” or “unnecessary.” But prayer is powerful — it connects you directly to the One who created you, loves you, and holds your future.

When you pray, you invite God into your situation. When you pray, you gain strength to overcome temptations. When you pray, your faith grows stronger, and your spiritual eyes open to see beyond the physical.

You don’t need perfect words — just a sincere heart. God hears the quiet whispers, the tears, and even the prayers you can’t put into words. He answers in His time, in His way, and always for your good.

✨ A prayerful youth is a powerful youth. Prayer gives you direction when life feels confusing and peace when everything seems heavy. Never be too busy to pray — it’s your spiritual oxygen.

đź“– 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NIV):
“Pray without ceasing.”

đź’ Reflection:
How strong is my prayer life? Do I only pray when I need something, or because I love talking to God?

🙏 Short Prayer:
Lord, teach me to pray more and worry less. Give me a heart that longs to be in Your presence daily. Let prayer be my strength, my comfort, and my connection to You. Amen.

✨ A prayerful youth is an unshakable youth. ✨

Dear beloved,

📍📍📍📍📍📍📍📍
Correcctions should make us better and not bitter, knowing well that uneasy lies the head that wears a crown. You need to be very much wiser than the devil does, never allow him to inflict pride on you to destroy your future. Accept discipline with joy, it comes to correct, it comes to make, it comes to form you. Learn to ignore any contrary opinion from the devil.

Happy Saturday to you all📍

TOPIC: MAJORING ON THE MINOR 1

READ: Exodus 18:13-27
MEMORISE:
Listen now to my voice; I will give you counsel, and God will be with you: stand before God for the people, so that you may bring the difficulties to God. - (Exodus 18:19).

EXPOSITION:
Leading God's people is a demanding and time-consuming task; leaders often focus on the minor tasks. Moses, for example, was in this quagmire until Jethro visited. Before Jethro's arrival, Moses' pattern was to decide who was right and teach them God's laws and instructions (Exodus 18:16). He sat alone, without a helping hand, and the people stood before him from morning till evening (v. 14). Moses' responsibility was to stand before God, teach them God's law, and show them the way to walk and the work to do. Standing before God for the people is a work that cannot be delegated, and it requires a man who is walking with God cf. (1 Kings 17:1). Yet, we need His wisdom to do His work, lest we misfire.

Psalm 24:4 elucidates the prerequisites for standing before God. If a leader's daily tasks are focused on settling issues at the expense of personal study of the Word of God and a consistent prayer life, he is focusing on a minor task. Administration is good, but it adds little value to a leader's ministry, if he is not a man at God's presence. Put your relationship with God first before your work for Him.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, help me to get my priorities right in You.
2. Lord, help our leaders to get their priorities right.
3. Holy Spirit, help Christian leaders at all levels to prioritise devotion to You over administrative tasks.
4. Pray for peace in everywhere there's war all over the world, and pray for a better NIGERIA

💖 THE GODLY YOUTH — EPISODE 2: GUARDING YOUR HEART 💖

Your heart is the center of your life — everything you do flows from it. That’s why the Bible says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” (Proverbs 4:23)

As a youth, your heart is open, full of dreams, emotions, and desires. But it’s also where the enemy tries to plant distractions — bitterness, lust, envy, or fear. That’s why God calls us to guard it, not with physical walls, but with wisdom, prayer, and the Word.

Guarding your heart means being careful about what you feed your spirit — the music you listen to, the content you watch, the people you let close, and the thoughts you entertain. What enters your heart will eventually shape your actions and your destiny.

Don’t allow temporary pleasures to corrupt what God is building in you. Purity is not weakness — it’s strength under control. The world may laugh at godly values, but God honors those who honor Him.

✨ Your heart belongs to God. Keep it pure, keep it focused, and keep it filled with His Word. When your heart is right with God, your life will naturally reflect His light.

đź“– Proverbs 4:23 (NIV):
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

đź’ Reflection:
What am I allowing into my heart today — does it draw me closer to God or pull me away?

🙏 Short Prayer:
Father, help me to guard my heart diligently. Purify my thoughts, desires, and emotions. Let everything within me bring glory to You. Amen.

✨ Keep your heart pure. Keep your spirit strong. ✨

THE GODLY YOUTH
EPISODE 1: THE CALL TO BE DIFFERENT

In a world where everyone is chasing trends, it takes courage to stand for Christ. The truth is being a Godly Youth means daring to be different. It means choosing God’s way even when the crowd walks the other path.

Many times, you’ll be misunderstood. People may call you “too serious,” “too churchy,” or “old-fashioned.” But remember, being godly isn’t about fitting in, it’s about standing out for the right reasons. You are set apart to reflect Christ in your words, actions, and decisions.

When you choose to live for God, you say “no” to what the world celebrates and “yes” to what pleases Him. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it. Because when you stand for God, He stands with you.

✨ Don’t be afraid to be different. The world needs more young people who will shine their light boldly. You are not called to blend in rather you are called to make a difference.

đź“– Romans 12:2 (NIV):
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

đź’ Reflection:
Ask yourself today...Am I living to please people or to please God?

🙏 Short Prayer:
Lord, give me the strength to stand for You even when it’s not easy. Help me to live a life that reflects Your light in all I do. Amen

✨ Dare to be different. Dare to be godly. ✨

🔥 BE A GODLY YOUTH 🔥

In a world where it’s easy to follow trends, stand out by following Christ. Being a godly youth isn’t about being perfect — it’s about choosing daily to live for God, even when it’s not popular.

A godly youth is one who seeks God’s will above personal desires. One who prays before acting, listens before speaking, and shines the light of Christ wherever they go. Your life is a testimony, and someone is watching how you live your faith.

Don’t let peer pressure pull you away from God’s purpose for your life. Instead, be the example that draws others closer to Him. Let your words, your dressing, your choices, and your friendships reflect Jesus.

Remember, youthful days are not for wasting — they are for building spiritual strength, wisdom, and character. Serve God now while you have the energy, passion, and zeal.

📖 “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” — 1 Timothy 4:12

You are chosen. You are set apart. You are light in this generation. 🌟

✨ Dare to be different. Dare to be godly. ✨

WHAT DO YOU SEE?

MEMORISE

And he looked up and said, I see men like trees, walking (Mark 8:24).

READ:
Jeremiah 1:11-15
[1]. Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.”
[12]. Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.”
[13]. And the word of the Lord came to me the second time, saying, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see a boiling pot, and it is facing away from the north.”
[14]. Then the Lord said to me: “Out of the north calamity shall break forth on all the inhabitants of the land.
[15] For behold, I am calling all the families of the kingdoms of the north,” says the Lord; “They shall come and each one set his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, against all its walls all around, and against all the cities of Judah.

EXPOSITION
The sense organs consist of the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and skin. The human eye is the light of the body, and exposure in life is within the range of what we have seen with our physical eyes and in the spiritual sense. God does not play with a man's spiritual sight, as demonstrated by Jeremiah's 2 consecutive tests (Jer 1: 12-14). Jesus, on the other hand, did not let the blind man go without confirming his judgement after healing. His response gave birth to the second touch, where he saw everyone clearly (Mk. 8:23-25). Eli and Isaac experienced a point in their lives where their sight went dim (Gen. 27:1; 1 Sam. 3:2). Father Abraham's possession of the land was hinged on his ability to see. Not all promises are automatic; some are conditional. Elijah told Elisha that if he saw him when he would be taken from him, it would be so for him, but if not, the otherwise would happen (2 Kgs 2:10).
To improve your spiritual sight, you must consider whether you are suffering from spiritual short-sightedness, long-sightedness, or complete blindness to the things of the Spirit. In any case, a second touch of God is needed to achieve more in, with, and for God.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Lord, open my inner eyes that I may see You.

2. Father, heal me of any degree of spiritual blindness.

3. Pray for CAC Printing Press, the Chairman, the press manager and the staff as led by the Spirit of God.
