Here's my question
As bakers, how do you feel and what do you do to rectify the messed up cake?
Do you cough out some excuse or go all out to get it rectified? What's your general response like?

As clients, after paying so much, who do you expect from the Baker and do you keep your cool?

As for me, this happened yesterday...my client was a beautiful person...was on my way to rectify it at her place of work, but after a while, I decided to send a smaller one for picture taking and asked her to share the messed up one. Initially was so heartbroken and confused, but my husband was home and was able to calm me down ....all in all, the celebrant was happy he got 2 cakes.

Was a loss for me, but I kept my client we were both happy at the end of the day
