A testimony about my recent cake order.

I received a message from Irewolede, a long-time acquaintance and one-time customer who knew my brother at Unilag. We hadn't chatted in a while, but she'd saved my number and we'd been viewing each other's statuses.

She reached out about a month ago, asking if I could make 100 cupcakes for her friend's event. Her friend had another baker lined up, but Irewolede insisted on hiring me because she'd tasted my cakes before and trusted my work.

I was hesitant at first, considering my 8am-5pm job, but Irewolede's faith in me made me agree to take on the task. When she increased the order to 200 cupcakes, I was taken aback, but I received a payment alert that helped boost my confidence.

As someone who's taken a course in project management, I used those skills to make this project a success.

Fast forward to the delivery - I'm proud to say that I delivered 200 beautifully decorated cupcakes within 24 hours.

It's been years since I last took on a large order, but I'm thrilled to report that my skills are still intact, and my recipes are still effective.

I thank God for the strength to pull this off, and I'm reminded that good work speaks for itself. If I hadn't delivered quality work years ago, Irewolede wouldn't have referred me. May our good work continue to speak for us! Amen 🙏
