YOU TOO CAN BE DECENT!

So there is a wind of indecency in our generation today and a lot of people are conforming each day because it's what everyone is doing. Let's follow the trends they say or else we won't be noticed. I am not good enough,I have to be like Sister A to be accepted,I need to look this way to find validation.

I hear people say God only looks at the heart 🤔🤔🤔
Truth is what is on the inside will reflect on the outside. If you're healthy within,it will still show outside,you don't need to prove a point.

I understand that to stand out or to be alone in what you're doing is hard and will land you on a lonely path but like I always say,the fact that everyone is doing it doesn't even make it right 🤷🤷

If I am preaching to you today with my cleavage open,what will you think of me? There is a way QUEENS dress, everything that is private should remain private. If you want to be approached by a king,you must dress like a queen; you must carry yourself like one.

Decency is not outdated, it's still trending....

WHY I BECAME A TEACHER!

It first began in 2018 when my dad was transferred to begin church planting in Jos East Local Government of Plateau State. It was a shocking experience for the whole family when we arrived at the venue and it seemed like the family were the only members on ground. The journey began and as the days went by into weeks and weeks into months,our number began to increase with children Inclusive.

For the weirdest reason,anytime I saw those children,I felt drawn to them,I felt like I had something to offer them. It always seemed like they couldn't relate much with what was done in the adult church so I came up with a plan for them 😃

I will always go to church early and during the adult Sunday school classes I will gather the children together and begin to sing and dance with them and we will memorize and dramatize Genesis 1:1 and they had so much fun 😃😃 then I began to find fulfillment...

We were consistent with the kids and they will always run around calling Anty Joy with so much excitement. It didn't take long when I started buying cabin biscuits to class and we will share after each class and because they were children,they willingly shared with their friends from other churches to come to our church because there will be biscuit after the class 😂😂😂

Before I knew it,we had quite a number of kids and the number grew every Sunday . At this point I felt very fulfilled and didn't feel empty anymore because I was using the talent I never knew I had. I didn't go there a qualified teacher but the talent was there and at the time was initially buried because I didn't even realize I had that ability. I later discovered that I could use this ability I had to impact my world and my experience during NYSC increased the passion and I sensed that was the direction God was leading me and I signed up for the career.

So many people have asked me,why are you a teacher? There is no money there...
The joy and fulfilment of imparting knowledge to my students over the years has been the WHY for me. It's true the money is never enough that's why we also have other streams of income but being able to guide and tutor the next generation is a privilege

A HELPING HAND...

Giving help to others in recent times has become very difficult especially because of the downturn of events and the deteriorating state of the economy. When we went out for the recent SOJA outreach,someone said in this economy? It got me thinking too but we did the little we could do to put a smile on the face of others coupled with the numerous people who were willing to support the project...

It may seem like a lot when you receive an instruction to give to someone in this season, it's like God I don't have enough,how can I even help another person?🤷

The most important thing is to obey,you never can tell the testimony that will be birthed from that simple obedience. It's true that you may not have material things to support those around you but you could give a helping hand by:

- Praying for others
- Sending a message of encouragement
- Give them a hug
- Remind somone about Jesus' love
- Make that phone call and check on them.

I bet you,the difference that act you consider as nothing will make In someone's life cannot be compared to material things..
Give a helping hand today, someone's resolution to continue is dependent on your obedience...

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT!

In 2024, I spent the better time of the year attending seminars and conferences that will elevate me into becoming a better person at what I do and at some point it felt like I was spending a lot in paying for meetings...

I struggled when I had to remove the money to pay because of course I can just go and get myself suya and a chilled drink 😃 but I knew developing myself mentally was a NEED not a WANT and I could delay gratification for the cravings I was having..

So it's true I have this talent and I can actually be a master in this area but it's important to note that TALENT is not enough,you must develop yourself...

So I decided that in 2025,I will save up for personal development so when an opportunity comes I will go for it without finances been a barrier...

There are times God gives you instructions and it doesn't really make sense o!
I remembered when we began project feeding the 5k slated for my birthday in 2021,it didn't make sense at all that I will go and be feeding people on a day I should be showered with all the gifts and attention.

I struggled but obeyed. Now this particular project among others we have done as well required a huge amount of money,just as the disciples told Jesus. Na there I know say God will give you projects above your bank account so you will rely on him completely for provision.

I stepped out in faith and involved my team and we started planning. The thoughts and ideas evolved over time but we kept doing what we could do and trusted God to make provisions. The location we had planned to go to changed the morning of the event,it felt like why is Joy confused but God was leading and He alone had the master plan.

21st July,2021 happened and the village we went to that day was attacked that night by Fulani and according to the story we received one of the people we reached out to that day was killed.

Here was I in shock,did we go there because of him? Oh God so when you give instructions,even when it's weird,there is a reason behind it. What if we didn't obey? It wasn't convenient,it wasn't easy, infact a night before the event I remembered crying to God telling him how scared I was and my inability to execute the project.

The excuses may be there and legit,the fears,the confusion,the negative what IFS. You may even want to explain to God why you don't want to carry out that instruction but he won't even say a word In return.

The slides below answers your question, it may not seem like it but go ahead and obey, even if it's for one person,every soul is important. There is a WHY behind every instruction...

BE CAREFUL LITTLE EYES WHAT YOU SEE!

These words kept resonating in my mind this evening as I stumbled on an unpleasant image yesterday. For a moment I sighted it and quickly removed my eyes from it but because the eyes is a gateway,my mind snapped the image and I found myself struggling to get rid of it.

What you spend your time watching has a huge effect on you and ends up affecting the person you become. It's common to watch movies or music videos with nudes and we feel there is nothing wrong with it,we are just been socially correct. Don't loose your mind in a bid to be socially correct and accepted.

Be careful what you see because what you see has a way of shaping your thoughts and your thoughts translate into actions on the long run.

When the instruction to release the confession journal came,I battled with fears,dear Lord,how will I write it? Who will buy? Who will even want to read it? I battled with those thoughts but I listened in an interview of DDK who shared how the Lord laid in her heart to release a book and she didn't and years later she met someone who wrote the book with same title and she was invited to the book launch. She said she cried her way back home from the book launch.

I got to the point where I needed money for the production but it wasn't forth coming, but since it was God's own project, we had a slash in the price of production from the initial survey made- that was God's favour speaking..

When God gives you an instruction, don't bother yourself with HOW you will do it,just submit to Him and let him guide you through the process. I have tasted and I am testifying that he's a God that can be trusted.

Meanwhile, the book price has been slashed,you can get a copy today for you and yours...

I have had different hobbies over the years but one that gave me comfort most times was writing, it gave me an opportunity to pen down things I couldn't say..

2021, I began to learn this formula in the place of fellowship with the Holy spirit and it helped me navigate through tough times that I felt I could actually overcome any challenge that came ..

When people approached me for counselling on different issues,I used the same method and I realized it enabled people begin a journey of freedom with God from difficult situations...

It's the perfect time for release says the Lord of Host!!!💯
