Good Girls don't get the Conner office.
Goodness and Success: you can have both.
That old saying, "nice guys finish last," is just plain wrong. It tells us you have to be cutthroat to get ahead, but that's a lie. You don't have to choose between being a good person and being successful.
Thinking you do have to choose creates a false problem. It makes people think they can't be both ambitious and decent. This kind of thinking hurts everyone, because it leads to a world where nobody trusts each other.
The truth is, being good actually helps you succeed. Honesty, kindness, and strong relationships are key to lasting success. When you treat people well, they trust you, and that opens doors.
Think of it this way: you can't have light and darkness in the same room. Goodness brightens things up. When we build a culture of kindness and respect, everyone wins.
We need to change how we define "success." Being a good person isn't a weakness, it's a strength. It builds trust and credibility.
To everyone who believes in doing the right thing: don't let anyone tell you that being good holds you back. Your values are your power. The "corner office" isn't just a place, it's about the positive impact you make.
Let's build a world where being good and being successful go hand-in-hand. A world where doing the right thing is celebrated.
