Tragedy in Cross River State as a Dangote truck crashes into a house in Iwuru Obio Ntan community, Biase LGA, killing two people. 💔

One of the victims was reportedly sleeping peacefully at home, planning to pick his kids from school by 3pm — only for the truck to lose control and crash straight into his house. 😭

When VDM once complained about Dangote trucks, some people said, “Is Dangote the one driving them?” — but look at this now. A man bought Dangote cement to build his dream home, only for a Dangote truck to end his life there. 💔

👉 Moral Lesson: Life is truly fragile. You can be doing everything right, yet fall victim to someone’s recklessness. May their souls rest in peace. 🕊️

The money will be deducted before it even enters her account . According to the new personal income tax , if you earn above 50 million Naira you pay 25% .

At least 17 passengers abducted 11 days ago along the Calabar–Oron waterways have been released following prompt action by the Cross River State Government in collaboration with security agencies.

The rescued victims are currently receiving medical attention at a government-owned facility in Calabar.

The incident occurred on Thursday, September 25, when armed men hijacked a commercial passenger boat operated by Sea Express Limited, which was conveying about 30 passengers from Calabar, Cross River State, to Oron, Akwa Ibom State.

The swift intervention by the state government has restored confidence among waterway commuters and reinforced Cross River’s position as a safe haven for business and travel.

The government has further assured residents and travelers of maximum security on all waterways and warned that it will not tolerate criminal activities within its territorial waters.

This is to inform you of the significant changes in the departmental subjects for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination *(WASSCE).*

The changes are as follows for secondary school students in line with the *WASSCE* exams:

*NEW DEPARTMENTAL CLASSIFICATIONS:*

* COMMERCIAL Department (formerly Social Science) is now *BUSINESS.*

* SCIENCES Department retains its name.
