The day I made the cake, village people wanted to give themselves High BP, not me.😂

I had already highlighted the things I would do that day. And that included the cake, the time to bake it, and the time it would take to cool before the proper decoration because I was to deliver it the next day.

Then, as I was eagerly ready to put the cake batter inside the oven, they decided to play their unpredictable role. They chose to disrupt my plans by making the gas cylinder which I connected to the oven start malfunctioning. The thing refused to be turned on. I tried and tried, yet, no positive result.

And after several trials, I gave up.

As disappointed and frustrated as I was, I began to think of my next line of action, whether to bake with pot, but no, the batter was in three different pans and it would take a lot of time trying to bake them one after the other, considering the sizes of pots I have.

I then resolved to carry them to another baker's studio to bake.

But what happened?

The 4 people I called, their phone numbers didn't connect and I felt it was not wise to go to their studios without first notifying them.
You know, something one has not done before.

Luckily for me, I called the 5th person, and she picked up and asked me to come immediately with a description of her location.

My people, before I could reach there, she had already lightened up the oven. And with her assistance, I had my cakes baked. Got home, and allowed them to cool while I prepared the fondant for the decoration.

Though I couldn't do all I targeted to do that day, I thank God that I was able to finally work on the cake and deliver it.
