When ur granola is crunchy

While it’s still in the oven
It turns golden brown, not pale.
You’ll notice a toasty, nutty smell (not raw oats smell again).
It looks dry on top, not wet or glossy.
When it just comes out
This part trips people up: it may NOT feel crunchy immediately.
Fresh granola is often slightly soft when hot.
The real test (very important)
Let it cool completely (at least 20–30 minutes).
As it cools, it will harden and crisp up.
Break a piece:
If it snaps/cracks → crunchy ✅
If it bends or feels chewy → not done ❌ (needs more time in oven)
