Did you know you can reheat the hot cross buns? Do you know what methods are quick and easy and which ones offer the best result? We are going to show you the proper ways to reheat hot cross buns. You can choose to use microwave or oven

1. The Microwave
- Place the hot cross buns in a microwave-safe container or plate.
- Zap them for about 10-20 seconds. You just want to get them warmed up at the right temperature. If you keep them in too long, they are going to come out soggy.
- After the 10-20 seconds, if they are to your liking, you can take out and enjoy. If it needs to heat up a bit more, you can do it in 10 second intervals.

2. The Oven
- You are going to preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Take the hot cross buns and place them either on a cookie sheet or an oven safe container.
- Place the sheet/container with the buns inside the oven and let them warm up for 10-15 minutes (might be longer if in the refrigerator)
- Remember, you are just heating the buns up, you are not re-baking them. So they will only be in the oven for a short period of time.
- Once they are steaming hot, you can take out and enjoy.

- To keep hot cross buns fresh, transfer them to an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place. You can also use a zip-lock bag; if using, try to remove as much air from the bag as possible before sealing.

- Hot cross buns will last in an airtight container in the pantry for up to 3 days and in the freezer for up to 2 months.

- If freezing, wrap hot cross buns individually in baking paper, so you can remove and thaw the portions that you require.
