My Agak Agak Oatmeal Cookies.

Mixed it all up with a spoon and used my fingers to check it they were the right consistency... And thank God they were.

Has a nice chewy texture too.

I'm loving it.

I made Woo Tau Koh today

Woo Tau Koh or Yam Cake is a savory delight made by Chinese Hawkers of yesteryear who sold them at morning markets.
Today it is a delight that can be found in Night Markets in posh areas and even in restaurants where it can be quite pricy.

Will do this for a class.

Each person takes home their own Roasted Chicken.

Sambal Spesial Express

They were to have opened the day our Lockdown began in March.

Well they opened a few days ago. So here I am finally in great anticipation.

Walked in looked at the board and chose what I wanted... What I was really looking forward to was the Sambal.

So I came home obviously, since it was just takeaway, and shared it out since we had already had lunch earlier.

So I got Sambal Segar and Sambal Matang.

First mouthful of rice with sambal, and that's it! All tastebuds got killed.

The rice was not piping hot as it should be, and so it was grainy.

The fried mushrooms were so crispy, it was almost unrecognizable. Brother thought it was flour strips.

Verdict... Sambal were too too spicy and I'm walking around now feeling like I've got sexy bee stung lips.

I've had sambal in Indonesia and it was never this spicy.

I would go there again just to check out other things, but the three choices of sambal available which is the very backbone of the whole joint... Might have to be given a miss
